So after about 2 or more months of not really buying anything I went on a spree. In my previous entry I mentioned I wanted to try more drugstore. So I went to Target, bought 3 things from E.L.F. and a Maybelline eye palette, hated it all, and gave up on the dream LOL. I also purchased a NYX smokey eye palette and 3 jumbo pencils from ULTA, prior to the E.L.F. stuff, that I DO like. I have bought NYX before (single shadows and blushes) and hated it. So when I swatched the NYX palette in ULTA and actually liked it, I just HAD to buy it! I also bought the Urban Decay Naked palette that I effin’ love. I love UD. Their eye shadows, primer, eye liners, and palettes. I don’t own nearly as much UD as I do MAC, however, the UD items that I do own are staples in my collection. I use their primer potion and 24/7 eye liners everyday.

As far as online shopping goes I ended up ordering the stuff from SugarPill that I wanted! Originally I was going to buy 2 of the 3 palettes they have and all of the pigments but settled on 2 each of the 2 palettes that I wanted (one set for me and one set for one of my best friends, for her birthday, since I know she really wanted these!). She’s lucky I like her and wasn’t being selfish because I DEFINITELY contemplated not getting her the palettes and adding all the pigments to my cart LOL. Just kidding!

Then, as anyone who knows me will tell you, I have this weird QVC addiction. They make everything look so good! So anyhoo, this past week I was seriously considering FINALLY purchasing my damn Clarisonic. And I swear, as I was on Sephora’s website looking at it I saw a tweet from @Clarisonic saying their Mia was going to be QVC’s ‘Today’s Special Value’. So I waited until midnight and placed my order. I bought it in Turquoise for $119! It’s usually $150. Hehe. Plus it was free shipping! Thennnn, being that I really wanted the Clarisonic full-size body version, I went ahead and ordered that one too. So yes, I have two of them coming in the mail. I’m a sucker for having both “full size” and “travel size” version of things. I often regret selling my travel size T3 blow dryer. Every time I travel I want to kick myself!

Then I finally ordered my roommates birthday present. I’ve been meaning to do it for 2 months now and decided to finally just go ahead and order it. I was annoyed by her the other day and was like, “Fuck it, not ordering it!”, but then got over it LOL. I got her a customized ipod nano. It is kinda pricey for a gift that you would give a friend but if I were to ask her to buy me something in that price range on any given day she probably would. So I don’t mind.

And not to mention all the clothes I bought the past week. Geez I swear I was on a MISSION this week. This is what happens when I don’t shop for a while. I explode, go to the mall, and just buy EVERYTHING!

I uploaded the pictures to Flickr already but they are currently private. I am waiting until my new things come in, and to take some pictures of a few things I didn’t, before I post the link to it.

In other news, I was in Georgia Saturday and Sunday visiting my friend Latorria. She sucks for moving back to GA. Now every time I want to see her I have to drive 3 hours. Oh, and… I got THE funniest letter of LIFE on Saturday. I won’t even get into that, but damn it was funny as hell. People just never cease to amaze me. Anyhoo, good night!

I’ve been so damn tired lately. I don’t even know why. But everyday I sluggishly wake up, in pain. I’m getting old I tell you.

Well, vacation was… interesting. I went up north with my roommate and her mom. We went to Baltimore, Atlantic City, Hartford, and NY. We did a bunch of random stuff and I watched three musicals: Next to Normal, Fela!, and American Idiot. Next to Normal was hilarious, and had a lot of memorable lines (“Valium is my favorite color!”). And that damn “I’m alive” song was stuck in my head for a while. Fela… let’s see, the dancing and costumes were really nice, and I liked WATCHING it. But I can’t tell you what the hell the musical was about. I kinda didn’t like how the musical was narrated throughout. American Idiot was good! Minus the main character spitting all over everyone (we were front row). But I think it’s something every young adult would enjoy. You can relate to it. My roommates mom didn’t like it so much. But I think it’s because she’s older.

While in Baltimore and NY my roommate and I got to meet some people we know online! ROFL at us telling Steph’s mom we were going to China Town and ending up in Brooklyn to visit our friend Kisha!

Then a few days after I got back from up north my family and boyfriend came down for a week. We went to all 4 Disney parks in one day. We do this every year. We also went to Universal Studios and Islands. I went on the new Harry Potter ride. Scary as hell I tell you! My eyes were closed half of the time. Too much creepy shit popping up in your face. There were lines for every store in HP world. I managed to buy the ‘Harry Potter’ wand. I really wanted Hermione or Sirius Black but they were sold out indefinitely or something. Or at least the lady told me, “We’re completely sold out. The only way to get them is online.” However, I’m sure that’s just the general answer because most of the people who go to Universal are tourists. I live in Orlando and own an annual pass LMAO. The next time I go I will see if they have them. I mean I can just order it online but it’s not the same ROFL. At the end of the week I went to Miami for my cousin/God sisters’ 21st birthday party. That was a lot of fun. Also, until that week, only my mom and siblings had met my boyfriend. That week he got to meet my dad and entire extended family. They like him and he likes them so that’s good!

But other than that life has been decent. I feel broke as hell. Ever since Jan/Feb I’ve been feeling broke. One week I was blowing my check on clothes I didn’t need and then the next week I was scrapping for change. Ever since I moved I tell you! But I’ve figured out a plan (sorta) to get back on my A-game money wise. Hopefully everything falls through. If not, it was worth the try!

Two nights ago I was looking at old pictures of myself. My outfits were not repeated NOT ONCE. I had matching shoes, bags, and accessories for EVERYTHING. I constantly switched things up. It actually looked like I knew how to dress. Lately I just wear a pair of jeans, a shirt, and some sandals or flip flops. What has my life become? When did I stop caring? I mean, I still care. I always look decent walking outside the house – but damn, I use to be ON POINT with my shit. I guess that’s why whenever my roomie tells I’m dressed up I look at her crazy. Because I feel like I’m not dressed. But then again, when I was living in Miami and just moved from there… I was still use to how Miami was. In Orlando, and just Central FL period, people don’t seem to care as much. And I guess that rubbed off on me.

Work is work. I love my co-workers so I never really dread going to work. Plus, I work in a makeup store. So I get to do what I do at home anyway – play in makeup all day!

Anyhoo, I’m sleepy as hell and I need to wake up in 6 hours to get ready for work. Good night!

I don’t even know why I’m awake. I’m so damn tired. Today Yesterday (oops, after 12 lol) my roommate Stephanie and I walked up 13 flights of stairs for the hell of it. Then went to the gym for an hour. I did 30 mins on the eliptical and 30 mins on the treadmill and wanted to die. I felt lame as hell. I’m never walking up stairs right before the gym ever again. I was so tired I fell asleep around 12 midnight. But as you can see it’s 3 hours later and I’m awake. I can’t go to bed early and stay asleep for some reason.

Yesterday I went to Movie Stop with Stephanie and Latorria.  We combined our purchase together and in total spent more money than anyone should on DVD’s. Stephanie and Latorria are into movies. I’m into TV shows. It’s like an addiction. Once you own one season you need to own them all. I think I’m going to start a list of DVDs I want as a page on here to keep track of what I need want.

Stephanie’s birthday is Sunday and we’ve been trying to make plans but she didn’t know if she would be here or not. She finally made her final decision two days ago that she would be here. But by then work schedules were already made, etc. I still have something planned though.

Tuesday (July 20th) I’m flying into Baltimore and then I’m hitting up Atlantic City and New York and who knows where else for at least 5 days. I’m going to see if I can switch my schedule around some more to get an extra day or two. But my “real” vacation starts on the 29th. August 30th some of my aunts, uncles, and cousins are coming from Miami and Palm Bay to Orlando for a week. My boyfriend Adrian also comes August 31st for a week. This should be interesting. Then the weekend of the 6th we’ll all be in Miami. So I’ll be all over the place the next two weeks. And in September I should be going to Hawaii for about 3 weeks. Not sure if that will fly over with my manager. If not I’ll go for like 2 weeks. I usually get home sick around the one week mark anyway.

Ohhh I got a rabbit and 4 fish. Stephanie and I need a hobby or something lol. We impulse buy the most random things. At least I’ve layed off buying so much makeup… somewhat. lol.
